Quote of the Day, January 10, 2011: Georgia Snowed in Edition
A few for my many friends in Georgia, currently snowed in. Here’s hoping they visit the site more often and this brings them some smiles while they mop the floor repeatedly as their children tromp in and out of the house.
The aging process has you firmly in its grasp if you never get the urge to throw a snowball.
Doug Larson
Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come.
Matt Groening
Skiing consists of wearing $3,000 worth of clothes and equipment and driving 200 miles in the snow in order to stand around at a bar and drink.
P. J. O’Rourke
We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand… and melting like a snowflake. Let us use it before it is too late.

Yep, snowed in. I like to go on the porch with a good cigar, and watch the idiots with the “4 wheel drives” slide by the house, with 4 wheels spinnin
And of course, I partook in the Great Southern tradition of buying up all the bread and milk and eggs
all of which I actually had run out of, and didnt want to be left without…I’ll never understand that
