Gone Fishin’

The government has lost all basis of perception regarding covering up corruption.

What’s worse is the public and media are accepting of this. They honestly believe that folks who work for someone who did the above will not interfere in an investigation? When’s the last time that happened at your job?

Totally depressing and disgusting. It’s not just inappropriate, its beyond poor decision making and blatant.

I’m going fishing for the 4th. Just tired of all the nonsense.

Keep your fireworks. I’m not sure there is much worth celebrating anymore. This government needs an enema.

Brad Lager and the “Outrage”

So Dana Loesch has written a pretty scathing article of Brad Lager over at

I know this because I, in turn, received a scathing E-mail from Mr Lager about those damn “unfactual bloggers”.

I’m not surprised. She’s good at that sort of thing and I have a lot of respect for her. I’m also not surprised at getting E-mails from a campaign that I A) am not following B) didn’t ask to receive E-mails from and C) have not even the remotest interest in the candidate in question.

I’ve been rooting for Pete Kinder ever since he forked over his own money to fight the healthcare law. That takes balls in my book, and his stance on illegal immigration is well known in these parts.  Besides that, frankly I’d take Barney the Purple Dragon over Claire McCaskill.

I will openly admit to knowing very little about Brad Lager and frankly what I do know I don’t care for.  Don’t take anything I say at value. I am a “nonfactual blogger” according to Mr. Lager.

Go view his voting record yourself.

My pet peeve? In 2006 Lager voted against  restricting the use of Eminent Domain.

And then he voted to expand it’s use to take help the government take our properties away from us.

He voted to expand abortion laws.

He voted to keep criminals out of prison.

But you don’t have to take my word for it. It’s all right there in black and white.

Just remember I’m not factual, and neither are any other bloggers out here. For the record, while Kinder isn’t spotless his record is much more solidly in my decision process frankly.

Frankly I didn’t have a dog in this hunt, and haven’t written one whit about it until i saw that “unfactual blogger” bit. It really torques my jaws when I see these silly half-assed lawyers degrade folks who are at the fore front of grass root operations.

You can see our retort to Mr Lager and his fine staff after the jump.

A Letter to America on the 4th of July

Fire works.

Pretty are they not?

A spectacular show those whom have not experienced the horrors of war. A simulation of the explosions, the roar, and the crackle of fire in the night. But Stinger missiles do not blast in shades of red white and blue, and phosphorus is a white that is blindingly bright that almost burns the eyes while it lights the night sky.

What have we become?

What have we done?

Next Great Irish Emigration?

From 1820 to 1860 the Irish were never less than the 3rd largest group of emigrants to American shores. The potatoe famine being the largest cause, the lack of jobs and starvation sent them scrambling for hope elsewhere.

The Irish civil war of the 1920’s sent many Irish to foreign borders again, families such as my own came to America to escape the violence. My current remaining family residing in Ireland is even considering leaving.

In 2011, however, the economy seems to be the driving factor in the latest Irish push in emigration.

WikiLeaks Debacle – What ever happened to good old fashion treason?

Still typing and posting via my phone so unfortunately this will be much shorter than I want it to be and what I have in my head.

But just a few key points.

First off the Professor over at Legal Insurrection has probably the hands down best post regarding this fiasco to date.

Best quote on what should have taken place re: White House reaction?

Dear Wikileaks,

If you publish any more material we will hunt you down no matter the cost, and you either will be killed while resisting arrest or you will spend the rest of your lives in solitary confinement in a Supermax prison, where the highlight of your day will be 1 hour spent in a cage instead of your cell. Don’t look up, that sound of propellers in the air is not a Predator drone.

Harold Koh

Here’s my biggest issue that I would really love to get in to but a tiny keyboard prevents me from: When Wiki Leaks released their first salvo back in October there was some outrage, but the our government rolled over and played dead.

Now that heaven forbid the diplomats, politicians and other government civilian types are ousted the State Department is up in arms and launches a investigation.

So effectively what your saying is soldiers lives don’t matter: but government bureaucrats are sacred. When you knew a month ago that the Wikileaks crew were going to do so again and you took no action save for a sternly worded letter.

This administration effectively disgusts me.

The Disfranchisement of the American Citizen

Once upon a time the dream of immigrants was American Citizenship.

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God

However, one city, one state at a time, that is rapidly becoming unnecessary. Furthermore those of us whom actually are citizens are paying the price of the disenfranchisement, as well as the price tag of the benefits of not being an American citizen.

Quote of the Day, August 23, 2010

The best minds are not in government. If any were, business would hire them away.

Ronald Reagan

Begining of the End…

Arizona has signs like this at the border...but there isn't a problem? How stupid do the American people look?

So a Federal judge is ripping the Arizona law.

Legal Insurrection has the best write up so far.

Get ready ladies and gentlemen, because this is where the metal meets the meat.

Smell the sweat, and the bad breath. Arizona has two choices here: fight or flight. Somehow given the problems they are having and the lack of the federal government to do..well..anything….fight will be their option. I can’t see them going quietly in to that good night, not at this stage. Further since a majority of Americans supported this law, it casts a very grim light on our federal government system.

This could get extremely ugly folks. Think secession ain’t a possibility? Think again. Anything is possible when you start talking about governmental sovereignty and the protection of citizens.

And it applies to more than just Arizona. Sarah Boltons ruling paves the way for illegals to come and openly seek and take jobs in the United States.

…..Court therefore does not enjoin the
following provisions of S.B. 1070:
Section 7 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-212: amending the crime of knowing employment of
unauthorized aliens
Section 8 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-212.01: amending the crime of intentional employment of
unauthorized aliens
Section 9 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-214: amending the requirements for checking employment

12 Million Americans are out of work and this Administration just opened the flood gates for another country to come and take the jobs we do have without those individuals paying a solitary dime in taxes.

Furthermore this brings up a very ugly reality about both our judicial-ship and our current administration:

They don’t care about you and I.
Just about the possible votes they can get and staying in office.

However there is a silver lining in all this.

If states are not allowed to enforce federal law, based on this judges reasoning does that mean states will not have to enforce ObamaCare to its residency?

The New American Caste System

Illegal Immigrants protesting in Arizona

Illegal Immigrants protesting in Arizona

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow me to welcome you to the new American Caste System!

Funded by our tax dollars, our soldiers blood and fueled by a leadership class who looks down its noses at our wishes, desires, and ideology.

Fear for your families safety? The Administration does not care.

Fear for your country? The Administration does not care.

Fear for your rights? The Administration does not care.

Fear for our countries Economics? The Administration does not care.

Fear of our countries debt, for your children’s sake? The Administration does not care.

Fear for the laws that you, by Constitutional right have passed, along with your fellow citizens?

The Administration does. Not. Care.

You see, it has become a war my friends. A war not of bullets, of mortars, or guns, or even of words.

But of votes.

How you ask? Read On

Rules of Engagement (or BloodSpites Law)

And that the said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press,  or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms; or to raise standing armies, unless necessary for the defense of the United States, or of some one or more of them; or to prevent the people from petitioning, in a peaceable and orderly manner, the federal legislature, for a redress of grievances; or to subject the people to unreasonable searches and seizures of their persons, papers or possession

Samuel Adams Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 1788 (Pierce & Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)

In the last decade there has been a disturbing trend in American politics.

Lawsuits, civil suits, court hearings, recounts, and accusations.

Poor losers in all respects and on both sides of the aisle.

But the one that annoys me the most is the calls to “unpatriotic” accusations from both parties.

Patriotism is not a slogan. it’s not a 10 second media add on your TV after your evening News. It is something that men and women of every color and creed, of all denominations and of no denominations, as well as those of all political aspects have died for. It isn’t something to be used to rally people in some Braveheart stylization to a call that otherwise would go unnoticed.

However media moguls, and politicians of the modern era use it, not as a source of pride, as a sense of nationalism, but rather as a tool to divide, and to dissuade. That is not the way to unite a country.

Obama: The Fifth Beatle “Gimmie Money”

I think Obama and Co have been listening to the Beatles way too much.

Take a deep breath.

Get out your calculator.

And read This.

Now lets break this down.

Thats 221 Billion with a capital “B” boys and girls in 30 days.

Spending was $328 billion. We have a income of $107 Billion. That means we are spending almost three times what we as a country are earning.

In simple terms if you and your spouse, or you by yourself make $50,000 a year. This would be the equivalent to you spending $150,000 a year.

What would happen to you?

Credit cards?

Interests rate?

Bill Collectors?

Take it another step. the federal Government could go to every man woman and child in America right now and ask us for $2,000 this month. We would only just pay that money.

But they would still not have enough for next month.

This is the single largest deficit in American History. Ever. Period.

Another comparison. Greece and Dubai are both in severe unrest with $20 Billion dollars in the hole. That is built up over years.

We just blew through that about 110 times. In 30 days.

Effectively we are spending $2 for every dollar that the US Government earns.

There is nothing balanced about this. There is nothing logical about this. There is nothing even sane about this.

I’m not a Accountant. I do have a degree in Business Management. I can read profits, losses, and see trends. I’m not an expert but I’m not a drooling idiot either.

Folks we need to wake up and fast. This is a road to ruin, not profit.

Congress raised the debt ceiling by $300 billion in December. In late January, they voted to raise it again by $1.9 trillion. The Congressional Budget Office says they ran through that $1.9 trillion by the end of February.

This means that the record breaking deficit we just had? It can be broken, and broken in to small tiny pieces.

Want another example to show you just how serious this is?

The US Government Bailed out General Motors for practices similar to this because it was on the verge of collapse.

Whose going to bail us out?

Until something is done I can show you who.

You. And everyone else behind you.
