Just when I started thinking we had hope for our next generations.

How lacking has our culture become that we can not read something and understand or comprehend?

How insulting is it to have our government support making a freaking comic book to explain why something they made is good?

Whether you support the Health Care Reform Act or not, in this instance is moot. The sheer audacity behind this particular publication is absolutely amazing. Essentially by this publication, the author is saying “Your too stupid to understand this. Here’s a comic book.”

Have we really fallen so low?

The scariest part is, someone will read it, and think it gospel.

At last Glance Missourians have outstandingly let their voice be heard in the chaos.

As of 21:10 tonight a whopping 75% of the voters have rejected the Obama Health Care Program

Roy Blunt won the Republican nomination for Senator and will face Robin Carnahan.

Looking at just straight numbers, had this been a real election, Carnahan would have lost. Her 84,000 votes vastly trailing Roy Blunts 185,000 votes. Chuck Purgason, the local tea Party favorite, trailed in with 32,000 votes at current time.

None of these numbers are final, (in fact, as of this writing only 1,327 of 3354 precincts have reported) but for it only being a mere 3 hours since voter polls closed, it’s extremely telling just the same.

For over 40 years Missouri has been the litmus test for elections, especially Presidential elections.

If that holds true still, then we have proven something this day:

The fight against ObamaCare, and the upcoming November elections, just got very interesting, and all sides had better be playing for keeps.

For those visitors whom are not Missouri residents Proposition C summary reads as follows (whole text is here):

Shall the Missouri Statutes be amended to:

* Deny the government authority to penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful healthcare services?
* Modify laws regarding the liquidation of certain domestic insurance companies?

It is estimated this proposal will have no immediate costs or savings to state or local governmental entities. However, because of the uncertain interaction of the proposal with implementation of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, future costs to state governmental entities are unknown.

Fair Ballot Language:
A “yes” vote will amend Missouri law to deny the government authority to penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful healthcare services. The amendment will also modify laws regarding the liquidation of certain domestic insurance companies.

A “no” vote will not change the current Missouri law regarding private health insurance, lawful healthcare services, and the liquidation of certain domestic insurance companies.

If passed, this measure will have no impact on taxes.

Arizona has signs like this at the border...but there isn't a problem? How stupid do the American people look?

So a Federal judge is ripping the Arizona law.

Legal Insurrection has the best write up so far.

Get ready ladies and gentlemen, because this is where the metal meets the meat.

Smell the sweat, and the bad breath. Arizona has two choices here: fight or flight. Somehow given the problems they are having and the lack of the federal government to do..well..anything….fight will be their option. I can’t see them going quietly in to that good night, not at this stage. Further since a majority of Americans supported this law, it casts a very grim light on our federal government system.

This could get extremely ugly folks. Think secession ain’t a possibility? Think again. Anything is possible when you start talking about governmental sovereignty and the protection of citizens.

And it applies to more than just Arizona. Sarah Boltons ruling paves the way for illegals to come and openly seek and take jobs in the United States.

…..Court therefore does not enjoin the
following provisions of S.B. 1070:
……
Section 7 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-212: amending the crime of knowing employment of
unauthorized aliens
Section 8 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-212.01: amending the crime of intentional employment of
unauthorized aliens
Section 9 of S.B. 1070
A.R.S. § 23-214: amending the requirements for checking employment
eligibility
….

12 Million Americans are out of work and this Administration just opened the flood gates for another country to come and take the jobs we do have without those individuals paying a solitary dime in taxes.

Furthermore this brings up a very ugly reality about both our judicial-ship and our current administration:

They don’t care about you and I.
Just about the possible votes they can get and staying in office.

However there is a silver lining in all this.

If states are not allowed to enforce federal law, based on this judges reasoning does that mean states will not have to enforce ObamaCare to its residency?

Obama reasoning on Wall Street Reform:

” … we also have basic rules of the road in place to make sure that investors, consumers, shareholders, the economy as a whole are protected against excess. Are protected against wild gambles that are taken– purely– because it’s– it’s good for some body’s– year-end bonus. As opposed to because there’s some economic function that actually– contributes to society as a whole.”

I love the way this guy speaks, he’s like a black William Shatner!  ” We’ve — got to — reform — Wall Street before — the rich get – any — richer — and they make — too much ——— profit for thier – hard work and ——- knowledge of the market “  This radical socialist president WILL NOT STOP until the whole country is controlled by the Government, and folks – It scares the hell out of me.  What if we get so far in that no one can save the simple Liberties of the American people, and if you think this is not serious, think again.

Today’s politician: John Oxendine

Headline: Oxedine Says “No” to Insurance Pool

ATLANTA (AP) Georgia’s insurance commissioner says he won’t move forward with state participation in the first phase of a new federal health care plan, even though it could bring federal grants to the state.

Whats this?  Is someone standing up for the rights of Georgians?  Well, its about time.  I was wondering when my great state of Georgia was going to join the fight against this unconstitutional health care BS.  Whats more, the commissioner isn’t even worried about the $5 billion in federal grant money that he is turning down by opposing this insurance pool.  I would hope more Georgia politicians would follow suit and not be taken in by the non-stop lowlife bribery that is currently running rampant in this so called government.  I thought that the folks on capitol hill were supposed to look out for the best interest of its people, and not when the next kickback or grant was coming.

So now the Obama Administration is suggesting what amounts to a Value Added Tax. It’s a system used in Europe currently…though with mixed effects depending on who you talk too.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his father has acquired too much, in order to spare to others who (or whose fathers) have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, “to guarantee to everyone a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” (Source US Dept of Treasury)

It’s funny isn’t it. Hearing such words from our founding fathers, yet Congress passed the 16th Amendment which says

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

The Constitution also states, however, that all direct taxes are required to be apportioned among the states according to population.  This basically refers to a tax on property, such as the value of land, as well as a capitation.

I certainly hope so.  President Obama, the kingpin of health care reform, is set to speak Saturday in hopes of roping in the last few demacrats to a “yes” vote.  He has postponed his trip to Asia to make this speach, I can’t help but to wonder if the trip was planned  just to be postponed in an effort to make it seem like this speach, and health care itself, feel like the most important thing going on today.

What really puts me out, is the fact that the President isn’t talking about anything else in his current presidency, its like he has forgotten about the other problems facing this country.  What about the deficit, what about the homeless, and what about all the starving people here at home that can’t find jobs?  Does this so called BS health care bill trump all those problems?  Those are just a few of the problems that need to be addressed off the top of my head.  A President is supposed to be a multitasker, he is supposed to have a list of things to do, and to pass down that list to the people in his administration, and let them find ways to carry them out, and then he is supposed to say “yes, or no” to the the methods  that they give him.  He is not supposed to be a cheerleader for some half-baked solution, that isn’t really needed in the first place.

Lilke I have said berore, we, as Americans are not in a Socialist society, we need a President that looks out for the greater good of this country, and not ignore the peoples voice.  When not a single Republican votes “yes” to a bill, there is something wrong.  When you have to cancel trips to meet with other countries to yell, and coerse representitives for a vote on a bill that is losing steam, something is wrong.  When you are trying to use old, old, old techniques such as reconciliation, and deem and pass, just to get a bill passed that you know might not get the votes it needs, something is wrong.

Mr. President: What about the other problems in this country?  Have you forgotten what your job is?  Put down your pom poms and pay attention to us!  People are dying, and you ignore thier cries for help while you masquerade around as the peoples president, and forget what you are here to do.  Stop turning a deaf ear to the things that really matter.  Let your administration fight the small battles, and you give the American people a chance to have a better life, and a a chance to have a President that deals with all the pressing issues we face, not just the ones you want to be remembered for.  You like Diversity?  Then be Diverse in your administration by looking at the country and its problems as a whole.

Well, well, well, those demacraps are mighty sneaky….

__________

This morning I got some very bad news: Apparently the democrats with their fearless leader Nancy Pelosi are trying to sneak Obamacare into law without a formal vote, and since the bill passed in the Budget Committee, I fear it just might happen.  Here is how it works:

A reconciliation instruction (Budget Reconciliation) is a provision in a budget resolution directing one or more committees to submit legislation changing existing law in order to bring spending, revenues, or the debt-limit into conformity with the budget resolution. The instructions specify the committees to which they apply, indicate the appropriate dollar changes to be achieved, and usually provide a deadline by which the legislation is to be reported or submitted.

A reconciliation bill is one containing changes in law recommended pursuant to reconciliation instructions in a budget resolution. If the instructions pertain to only one committee in a chamber, that committee reports the reconciliation bill. If the instructions pertain to more than one committee, the House Budget Committee reports an omnibus reconciliation bill, but it may not make substantive changes in the recommendations of the other committees.

This says it all....

Pelosi believes, according to this round table, that passing this health care bill is going to set the stage for a long-term debate with Republicans over the proper role of government in our lives. She believes that passing this bill will give Democrats a tool to use in order to draw a sharp ideological contrast between Republicans and Democrats. Pelosi says that passing this bill will allow for the debate over “what is the balanced role that government should have.” She says, “We have to take it to the American people, to say, this is the choice that you have … This is the vision that they have for your health and well being, and this is the vision that we have.”

She looks like a normal human...

She looks like a normal human...

Hmmmm....Maybe not.....

Hmmmm....Maybe not.....

So, heres the thing:  Maybe this bill is just what the merican people need, and maybe it’s not.  Whichever way you believe, here is a cold, hard fact for you people – Seeing the trouble, and the bribing, and the constant badgering of senators, not to mention the failed attempts, and the trickery going on, if this bill was what the American people wanted – would it be this hard to actually get it passed?
__________
This is another wake up call folks, do we really want more government control?  Do we really want the government telling us when and where we can see a doctor? Do we really want to be told which coverage we can get, or do we want less control?  Do we want Freedom of Choice when it comes to our health care?
__________
Recently one of the Premiers of Canada opted out of using the so called “free health care” and travelled to Florida to have his heart surgery done….If this was such a good system, why did he leave??
__________
The last time I checked, our soldiers have been living and dying for this country and our Freedom, Freedom that is being taken away from us with this monstrosity called Socialized Medicine.  We are not Socialists, its time to take our country back from the likes of Pelosi, and others who would like to see this country of Free Matket Enterprise turned to a Socialist economy….The Time to Stand up and be Heard is NOW!
