SITREP is an acronym for Situation Report. Old military, I’m not even sure if it is in use anymore, although it used to be.

That said we are getting closer to Football season, and v00d3w and I are both chomping at the bit.

As the time counts down I thought it would be worthwhile to do a quick rundown of some events that have taken place with my beloved Vols.

We have recruited the Number One punter in the country, Matt Darr.

We have signed Justin Worley as Quarterback, ranked at number 22.

We also picked up Defensive Tackle Allan Carson to round out our defense.

And in a move that can only be described as oh so sweet, we snagged a recruit from Lame Kiffins’ clutches none other than Malik Jackson

And Derek Dooley rubs a little salt in the wound by taking advantage of the NCAA rule that says Juniors and Seniors of a school under sanctions can transfer and play immediately. So what does Dooley do? He sends notification to USC that Tennessee wants all of their Juniors and Seniors.

Yes friends, for now at least, it is Great to be a Tennessee Vol!
